Whilst being missing in action on the OSM Forum, I have been busy doing some other things, which include sketching and watercolor painting. They both go hand in hand. Some of the same basic skills, which we all use. I haven't been keeping my Photo Bucket up to date, but here's a teaser ....... a self porteait.

really nice stuff. very proportionate. all my people drawings end up looking like aliens. so I don't draw people anymore. for me, water colors are hard to work with. I have been dabbling in india ink. like the black and white look. I haven't drawn anything in many years though.

Joe asked for it Bucky. I made my own sketch journal out of a Blick's 140 # Hot press block of paper. It had been quite awhile since I did any Graphic Arts work. I primarily use Cold Press paper, which has more tooth.

I worked in Graphic Arts and Bindery back in the day, but you can find a lot of How To's on Youtube these days, which really help.
