Hear is another painting of the Belted Kingfisher on 11 x 14 Cold press paper. I have since sold this painting and lost my Amatuer Rating.

Finished a small 9 x 12 watercolor on Lanaquarelle 140 lb. cold press paper, using Daniel Smith colors. This is copied from a photo of a Female Killdeer with her 3 little chicks on a beach.

Just too messy for winter indoors. It'll have to wait for carving outdoors. Still planning to do it though. My plate is full. Our Watercolor Class is having our second annual Art Show at our Local Timberland Library next month, so trying to get a couple of paintings ready for that.

Nice work Bruce, looks like you're getting a good handle on this. Water colors take a different approach for sure. Me Mum use to do water colors, she was really good at it. I never picked it up well, I was always trying to blend the colors, HA!
