Those Eureka XXL tow cables are sweet, I really like using them. They are to swear by and the kit cables to swear at.

That's one detailed brilliantly painted jack my friend. Great weathering too, the Schürzen will look awesome.

Jcon Thank you brother. Keith Thank you as always my good man. Cliff I stumbled across them. After this, I am sold on them. I ordered some for my Tamiya JS-2 Armorguy Thank you kindly my friend. Funny you should mention the schürzen......they are now mounted and painted. For not having a lot of bench time today, I had made a fair bit of progress. The schürzen are all mounted, painted, and in the initial stages of weathering.
The rear is receiving its fair share of schmutz. This looks a bit off. The schürzen have yet to get dirty, unlike the road wheels and drive sprocket

More sensational work man! You'll be able to schmutz up the shurtzen in no time. It always feels great when you get more done in a short time than you ever expected to do.

Armorguy More schmutz to follow. Thank you for having a gander. Jcon Thank you brother. I may get it across the finish line tomorrow. We'll see what tomorrow has in store for me first. Keith Thank you kindly good sir. Dukemaddog Thank you very much buddy. That's always great when it goes that way. I got some fiddly detail weathering done today. Not a lot....it was such a nice day here, I opted to take the bow to the range. Arrow therapy! Here is a link to a video done by Michael Rinaldi. It's his demonstration and explanation of the hair spray technique. It's what I used a lot of on the last couple of models. This is a video that I came across that does a nice job of explaining the technique. I ended up watching it again.

Buddho Thank you kindly. A bit of weathering was accomplished yesterday. At least the schürzen look like part of the same panzer. The schmutz along the bottom hasn't quite dried yet in the pic. Cables are painted and mounted. The finishing touches on the muffler are now done.

Thanks for the link to the hairspray video. A lot of civvy builders use this technique, too. Those cables look very real, as does the exhaust.

That is one nice dirty well used Pz4!! Thanks for the hairspray vidio,I'm one of those people who can learn by reading but for me I also like to watch how something is done, it sinks into the learning a lot better.

Buddho Thank you kindly for the high praise my good man. Keith You are most welcome buddy. I friend of mine is using the technique on a early Suburban mounted on a half track chassis. Thank you as always for your time in having a gander, and for your support. Cliff Thank you very much buddy. You are most welcome. I hear ya about learning. I can read about things, but until I see/do it, it's merely an abstract.

Thugmaestro ! Your camouflage pattern looks the dog's danglies, and the way you chipped it makes it look even more realistic. The colors you picked for it add extra life to the tank. Dust and dirt look perfect, not too much and enough to make it look a mudpig. You put a whole lot of love into this kit. I enjoyed this thread and I hope you'll tackle another trackie soon. Have fun with the German wingie now, I'm in.
