Mark Thank you kindly brother. When I saw the pic of zim on the schürzen (that would be a good name for a food cart I knew that I had to try and pull it off. The extra work really wasn't too bad....I actually had a lot of fun with it. Jeff Thank you buddy. Dukemaddog Thank you very much my good man. Keith It's a good thing you aren't any closer. You might see the boo boos I've made. Armorguy Thank you. I knew when I saw the reference pics, that I had to try. Tony Who knew?! There's been progress at the bench. I'll have to get pics up later as my wife and I are working opposite shifts again, so it makes access to the computer tricky. She's on the dark side of the clock, and I do not want to bugger her sleep. I did nights for twenty years. There will also be some tracks on soon. I got a set of Modelkasten off eBay. A good deal really. Unfortunately, there is a bit of slop between the tracks and pins. In some ways this worked out to my advantage (more on that later). So the second run was drilled out, and pinned using short bits of 0.019" brass wire. I had to stop last night as I broke three drill bits. I've more bits on the way from a company, which fortunately in just north of me by about 45 minutes.

The chipped paint looks nicely done mate. The muzzle break is a piece of art on its own.

Armorguy Thank you buddy. Jcon Thank you my friend. Steve I rang the beer bell. Sorry,my bad Heck! I this household, you'd still be considered "on time" Keith Thank you kindly buddy. Doogie Thank you very much. A bit of progress made today. Well, yesterday too. I hit the greens and browns with some oils to give them a bit more variation. Also, I painted up the T-34 tracks, which will sit on the glacis. This one is a bit blurry. The backside of the schürzen after a bit of weathering. The rust streaks are oil paint. I put the finishing touches on the jack this afternoon.
This run of schürzen is in its final place. The plan was to paint the camo after mounting it. That will have to wait until I have more time. Here's what it looks like from the "inside" view.
