Engine almost done and did some painting tonight of other parts. Will get pics tomorrow, but had a few bad days with the ankle after the antiquing over the weekend. Surgeon indicated I may have a lot more bad days at least for a few months.

Sorry Scott, praying for you buddy!!! Thank you! Just discouraging but following dr advice. Cast comes off in a week and that’s when the real “fun” begins. Getting these reconstructed tendons and ligaments moving and working again is going to be more of an ordeal than I thought.

I do understand having dealt with a broken knee for a year... I’m just focusing on the end goal as much as possible. My grandfather ran over my foot with an ‘86 caprice wagon. That tore a ligament that was never diagnosed. In the 30 yrs since I tore nearly every tendon and ligament in the ankle...none repaired. So looking forward to a good ankle. Sorry about ur knee. That’s one bone I haven’t broken. (14 is my current tally)

Wow, that is a good goal to keep focused on... how is the thumb healing? The thumb isin perfect alignment and looking good. The break goes into the joint and could have required surgery, but that won’t be needed thankfully!

Ribs hurt for about a month... nothing like the knee pain and trying to navigate with stairs in your life... even had to get a different truck cause I couldn't do the clutch...

That sucks. I often would love to have the truck we had growing up but in the last 4 years I have had such bad luck with left leg I wouldn’t have been able to drive it either!

Actually it worked out well cause mine was a little Ford Ranger rear wheel drive and being a realtor in a mountain area I really needed a 4 wheel drive truck and more seating so we shopped around and found a nice Chevy Silverado extended cab 4x4 with a canopy, automatic, low miles and they wanted my Ranger as they are in high demand with the kids... price was good and I've already paid it off...

Nice looking truck! My first truck was a 95 Ranger 2wd manual with the 4.0 v6. Then I upgraded to the sport trac. Looking at getting a 2019 Ranger or 2020 bronco if we can sell our POS system.
