Wide open, customers build french headlights, french taillights, using '59 Caddy Bullet taillights, moon white walls, lowerd, Kustom paint: Pavlo purple, with added island pearl, and pearl white, with added purple pearl powder, white interior, with purple trim Delete some chrome trim, re-chrome with purple anodize, Mild detail on the engine, plugs, stuff like that, lake pipes, with bellflowers, Skirts, and a mild low stance, in the back. Welp, ya now know the plan, body work is just about done, then off to wash, and prep for paint, yeah still designing the art for the '65 no build Impala, BUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTT, I may go ahead and build it, dunno yet  delete your account |

Last night I pulled out the '53 Ford and slapped another coat of yellow on the body. When I was still on sick leave on the percocet, I was having a "sweat" problem, so whenever I tried to paint, I left finger prints. That frustrated me, so I finally sanded the body paint smooth to go back and paint again with gloves.  So, last night was it. I'm not as satisfied as I would like, but I think it'll do. Now all I have to do is finish off the chrome and some small pieces. Hoping to finish it off this week. |

Hang in there man. At least you got something done. Due to some complications, I've not been able to work in my Hobby Room so far this week. I was so hoping too.

Last coat of paint on the body tonight. Will finish installing chrome and everything else by weekend!

It is finished...so to speak...  Unfortunately, I realized tonight that the license plate is missing and both side mirrors were broken. Tomorrow I will put on the finishing touches like decals and touch up around my glue points tonight. Then you shall have final pics! |

The final coat went on tonight. It’s in the box drying overnight and I will decal it and take pics tomorrow!

Tell Laura I said thank you! What I love is all that chrome! Love the use of chrome on those 50’s and 60’s cars! One of these days I’ll do my favorite oldie-the ‘57 Bel-Air
