Thanks Jeff! I've been sidelined the last 3 days. When I am not having surgery or breaking bones, I am a chronic migraine sufferer. From 2013-2017 I had 1100 or so migraine days. In 2017 I made some life changes and only had 60 from July - December (2 from March - July). I used to suffer daily (mild to moderate) but now the dailies have been replaced with "The mother of all migraines" about once a month. These MOAM rock me for about 4 days and then I'm ok for a month or so. I'm now on day 3 of this one. It's during these times that I don't dare work on my models, woodworking, etc. I can struggle through code at work, but it leaves me a useless zombie at home.
Praying this one is gone soon.

In my thoughts and prayers... are you using a screen filter or special glasses with your computer... my son got special lenses in his glasses for that as he used to get migraines also... it helped immensely.

In my thoughts and prayers... are you using a screen filter or special glasses with your computer... my son got special lenses in his glasses for that as he used to get migraines also... it helped immensely. Yeah, I've got some very nice Gunnar computer glasses. Also, last summer when my university computer was up for replacement, they bought me two new HD monitors that have helped immensely too. I work for an extremely wonderful place! When we were spec'ing out my computer, my migraines were considered specifically and they nearly bought me a $4,000 setup to get the right video cards and monitors. Thankfully, the computer glasses and the HD monitors helped enough. This is a journey I've been on for 20 years now (car accident and untreated whiplash). Last year I tried a product called Plexus for 9 months. It was able to reset my system and allow me to flush my system of all of the drugs I've tried over 20 years for these. I haven't been on it in 5 months and I'm still down to about 1 migraine a month. To put it in perspective, this was my drug regiment before Plexus: - 6 Excedrin migraine a day (More than 2 and you have risk of abnormal bleeding--the blood vessels in my nose would bleed through the vessel walls randomly)
- 3,000 mg ibuprofen a day
- 9 Imitrex a month (all I could get)
- botox injections 4 times a year
- Chiropractic visits every week for my neck
- Cervical epidurals on C1-7 (had two)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (They severed the nerves around C1-5 which permanently deadened them--permanent as in 1-10 years--it's been 2 now)
So, if anyone needs any advice, etc about migraines, let me know. I'm unfortunately an expert now.

Must be a busy week for all of us! Unfortunately my migraines have caused other issues so it’s been a rough week. Since I missed MOM submission, I want my crest line to be my June MOM so, I am going through and doing some fine tuning. I know it’s not about being perfect but I am honing my skill. I’d like to be able to show off my work some day!
