Number two's on its way. It's Trumpeter's Krupp-Ardelt Waffentrager with 10,5 cm leFH18. This was a paper panzer as it never left the drawing room. Russian forces were already banging on Dolfie's backdoor before it got into production. About the kit, well well Trumpeter surprized me. Flawless fit of the parts, not too many parts so that means a pretty straightforward build, clear instructions and not much to clean up, magnificent tracks and a metal gun barrel. The gun btw. looks nicely detailed and it's not time consuming to build it, the tracks are but they're worth the effort once done. How far I got with it by now... I hope you like this one ? Best regards ! AG.

What's not to like? Hey Jeff, well, maybe the fact that it's only a paper panzer, it never really existed. I don't have a problem with the subject paper panzer because it gives me the opportunity to experiment with different styles of camo.

Fantastic start! Nothing wrong with building things that never existed. The civvy builders often call those type builds "phantom", or "fantasy" builds. Carry on, mate!

Bucky, thanks my friend. I'm going for it. Joe, such a chair and a cold beer...but not for Jeff, he certainly prefers a HOT beer at the mo. Jeff, you must feel like the tinman in The Wizard of Oz then ! You should spray on a tadd of warm oil on those poor frozen knees. Bruce, yes my friend, number two is on its way. Steve, I'll try to make it look good then, thanks for bookmarking brotha. We have paint ! It was fun to create my own what if Dunkel Gelb for the 105mm gun. I'll try to make it look different. Next thing I'll do is to make a red primer for the turret interior as I want the yellow gun to pop out of it. Best regards ! AG.

Thanks gentlemen. I've just sprayed the turret in the same yellow as the gun. Next is the hull to be given yellow and primer red in the fighting compartiment. I picked a crazy camouflage pattern, you'll see ! That's for later. Best regards ! AG.
