I hate to see those shops go. When I worked in the Cleveland area, I hit several shops around there. One of my favorites was in Strongsville. Can't remember the name of the shop, but they had everything in there. We've lost a large number of shops in Tennessee, too.

I have never had a shop too close to me since I moved to West Sussex, we used to have two Model Zones but they closed but they were over priced chain and too far if you needed something now!!

We got two fairly decent good ones here in Mass. Sadly I cant get to either, But I have been to both in the past several times. The Spare Time shop in Marlboro Mass is a full-fledged and stocked hobby shop and Hobby Emporium in Tyngsboro Mass is another wall to wall fully stocked hobby shop. I have always said if I ever hit the lottery I'm renting a Uhaul and going on a shopping spree lol

The only hobby shop in Ohio that I've bought from is Depot Train & Hobbies in Cleveland and then only by phone (after shopping online). They are a monster shop with literally thousand of model kits, lots of supplies, and oodles of other hobby items. They almost always have something on sale or special and I highly recommend them.

Years ago I went to the shop in Strongsville , Parma Hobby and Hobby castle in Cleveland...but that was 25-30 yrs. ago ! I can no longer drive...so I'm pretty much stuck with online sales...Modelroundup.com is my go to now...check out Overtime Hobby he sells models on E-bay along with his store.

It was in '96-'97 when I was in that area. I remember Parma Hobby. There was one in Lakewood, too. A few around Elyria, and Lorain......
