Worked on it all day, sanding, filling, sanding, dipped canopy in Future, cutting off unneeded string rings and cleaning up the all important WHeeLS n Tires.

Now, that all these holes have been created, have to fill them back up. ( Kinda like being in the ARMY, right?) Used the leather punch for 2 and cut n fit 2 squares. One of the things about being an X-Plumber and a Horder is that these Stainless Steel sleeves from some faucet cartridges finally are coming in handy. Now to cut and sand the internal engine bay for the sleeve.

Thanks fellas. Went the next step, with masking off the Dark and shot a coat of shiny aluminum and painted the interior cock pit with Green Zinc Chromate to match the early 50s look. Need to do some work on the tail fin, intakes and other details. This may take awhile. Thanks for checkin in.
