Cheers guys, there should be an update later today as i've almost finished the model now. Carl, the trees were made using florists wire, not sure if I will use them yet I'm still deciding on the groundwork & vegetation for the dio. Robbo, Yes the base is made using a picture frame, in this case an Ikea one

Thanks marco, i can thoroughly recommend the tamiya JGSDF type 90 main battle tank. It's a great kit right out of the box. If you want something with wheels then any of the trumpeter kits will do or the tamiya light recon vehicle which is ace!

Indeed Pete! I have the ancient Trumpy's NBC vehicle with some PE from Lion Roar. May be in the GB... (It has tires eh? )

I've got the same kit & exact same etch! How bizarre is that? Those older trumpy ones are actually very good as they used the old pit road moulds.

Love them tyres. Seen a lot of picture frames being used lately, they do a good job

Pete, I built the "brother" of NBC vehicle (without any PE) and he's good. I won a gong with it a long time ago. I'll take a pic ASAP. The PE set is very compreensible, with good details. I just need some more pics of the hidraulics on the rear arm.
