My granddad had a '55 Ford truck. The bed was gone off of it, and a rickety old wooden flatbed was back there. I learned how to drive in that Ford! (That's where some of the dings came from!) Some day, I may try a close tribute to that old truck.

After paint fella!!! LOL!!! The body isn't on there permanently, just sitting on the frame... long way to go, no paint has been applied at all yet!!!

Oops forgot to get it out of the box, but you can see some on the custom engine and also still in the box on the upper corner of the first pic!!! My bad!!!! Everything is accounted for except for that one license plate decal which I won't be using anyway... I have tons of license plate decals to substitute!!!

There are so many extra parts in this kit with the original or a work truck and the custom build!!! Even a nice set of tools and acetylene canister torches... I will have lots left over for future builds including that really nice custom v-8...

I always liked the custom rear fenders. They are actually patterned after mid-sixties Chevy stepside fenders. The taillights for those fenders are some kinda custom jobs, I think.

They are but I won't be using them, I believe Scott is using them on his 53'... mine will be original as I am building it for Red who loves the old pickup trucks!!!

So after some research I find that the flathead V8 in the trucks were not red like the Crestliner of the same year but were green so here you go so far, let the color begin...
