We had started this mini group elsewhere, and several builders had finished theirs, but I know at least two who are still tooling along. So, we'll start here with the remainder of our Duel.

I chose the Moebius '69 Ford F-100:  Dug all this out of the box:   Started cranking out subassemblies:  Modelingmonkey didn't like these ejector pin marks in the bedsides:  So he ordered up some filler panels made from styrene sheet. You know...WHITE STUFF:  Painted a few things:  Got the six cylinder motorvator finished and wired:   Started painting Henry Ford's favorite color on the frame and interior and wheels:  Shot the necessary gray stuff on the body parts:  Finished the wheels and tires. I even have a spare for under the bed:  Finished the framework:  More coming in a bit. |

I shot the base color on:     This is TESTORS One Coat Lacquer Diamond Dust. The following pic shows the parts after wet sanding:  This pic shows the front turn signals and side marker lights. I used Tamiya Clear Red and Clear Orange for these:  This brings this build up to current status. |
