I'd love to have that daily driver!!! My '69 Ford build is still on hold, waiting for painting weather. Seems like this winter is going to last forever!!

Wild looking Ram, there, Joe! I was able to shoot some paintage on this Ford today: This is TESTORS Star Spangled Blue One Coat Lacquer. Second color is TESTORS Icy Blue One Coat Lacquer. Time for opinions......should I shoot a third shade of blue along the bottom, or leave the silver?

Another blue along the bottom is my opinion but I like it this way as well should you decide to leave it...

I went ahead and shot the third blue: It actually looks very close to the blue on the roof of the cab. The bottom blue is TESTORS De Ja Blue One Coat Lacquer.

Shot some semi gloss black on the engine bay, firewall, bottom of the hood, bottom of the bed floor, all four fenderwells, and inside bottom of both rear fenders: After a little more cure time, I'll mask off the semi gloss black and clear coat the blue.

Tamiya 6mm for the edges and DUCK brand low tack painters tape for coverage of the rest of the parts.

Thanks, Joe. Tamiya tape is good for the edges. Fineline automotive tape works good, too, but is a little thicker than Tamiya tape.

I shot the TESTORS One Coat Clear on the pickup. Bad news!!! The nozzle was acting ugly and a big glob of clear landed on the roof. I tried to remove it very carefully, but some of the blue dissappeared. I'll sand the roof and re paint it.

Here's what happened: The other parts came out good. Just a good polishing is needed. The sides of the cab show how the other parts did: So, I'll get out me sanding cloth! LOL

Don't know what happened. It was a brand new can of lacquer clear! It sprayed out thru the nozzle, and all around it.

Well...I had some success with the final assembly on this one! I finished my '69 Ford pickup. I have a couple decals to throw at it, and then I'll take it out in the sun for some photos. I'll post those pics when I get 'em!
