I'm gonna try that green frog tape, supposed to work well for edges but not stick to pull off the lower layers...

What did you use for primer, Keith?
Hope Mum's knee is O.K.

Joe....my tape is actually Duck brand, clean release! HAHAHA Jeff.... I used my normal Duplicolor primer. This is the first time I've had this happen. Mrs. Bucky has to wear a brace on her knee. We're at the eye doctor, now!

Is that primer enamel or lacquer based? A brace you say. That's not too bad then. And now the eye Doctor? Man, you guys get around.

Not sure, Jeff. I'll check it when I get home. The primer and white have been on the body for at least three months! We also have heart doctors, and lung doctors!! The knee brace doesn't seem to be very friendly, at the moment!

Does it have metal bars that push to one side? Mine looks like this...

Her brace doesn't look that extreme.

Good that was the bad one I had, the others where Velcro attachments and worked much better... that unloader brace had dials that would adjust your knee angle from the side to release pressure on the injured side but ended up throwing my other side of the knee out of balance and created problems on that side...

No, she hasn't used one at this point. I'm afraid she might whack me in the head with it!

It was hard on my ego to use it at first but as you said it was a great deterrent to any smart arses out there... only needed it for a month and it really did help me a lot!!! I keep it in my hall closet in case I ever need it again!!!

I got the messed p white and primer off the rear deck, and shot the primer on....again: A light sanding session, and I'll be ready for the white....again.

I got the TESTORS white reshot on the rear deck: It came out very smooth. Now, maybe I can button this one up!!

Nice job getting it between storms and it looks really good, no lifting of the gold paint from the tape is always a good thing!!!
