Hello all, my name is Mark and I'd been invited here by several people. I decided to join to stay in touch with many selected members from the old Worx.
I live in Southern California and I'm a member of IPMS USA; IPMS Orange County is my local IPMS chapter. I am also a member of So Cal AMPS as well as the St. Crispin's Irregulars. St. Crispin's Irregulars is a chapter of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society-Pacific Southwest. (HMGS-PSW) St. Crispin's holds it's two-day Hobby Day every month on the second Saturday. I invite any and all who come to Southern California to join us for our free Hobby Days. It is at Hobby Day where I manage to get a lot of modeling work done; sometimes more than I get done during a typical week.
My modeling interests are pretty specific. I build exclusively 1/72 scale aircraft, armor and military vehicles. Exceptions to this are models I build on commission for other people. I also build ships, mostly in 1/700 scale, but I've done a number of others in such odd scales as 1/451 and so forth. My civilian vessels are of different and odd scales, but almost all my warships are 1/500, 1/600 or 1/700 scale.
I currently to date have completed a grand total of 1444 models, not including commissions. 706 of those are armor and military vehicles. The rest are all other genres of models; including Space and Sci-Fi, buildings and bunkers, a few 1/24 scale cars and one large figure of the Headless Horseman.
Later on I'll post pics of some of my work. Meanwhile, I heard there has been a lot opened up where I can break ground on a branch office of Maddog Manufacturing. Construction of said manufacturing facilities should begin shortly, then I'll be able to offer tours of my assembly plants to all interested parties.
I've already browsed through the rest of this Introduction Forums and seen a lot of familiar names; all of whom I'm thrilled to see. I look forward to seeing you all here around these Fora.
