I built this AMT kit in order to see how the Dupli-Color Mirage paint would do on a model. The paint did pretty well, but the kit itself is a bear to build. If you have one, take your time with it! A lot of fit issues for me on this one:

The biggest issue with this kit is the lack of positive locators for certain parts. It becomes a guessing game. And the windows are a real "pane" to install!!!! hahaha
Anyway, the paint changes color like it should. It doesn't show that well in photos. Thanks for checking out AMTronic.

I built one of these when I was a kid, and have another that I started a couple years ago- you're right- not an easy kit to build! Yours looks great! The paint choice was good; adds to the futuristic feel of the vehicle

If I did another of these builds, I'd set up the parts better before painting, in order to make the color more uniform.
