"Killer Bee"...a 1969 Dodge Super Bee

I built this one to replicate a 1:1 that belongs to a friend. I used the Monogram kit, added a masking tape vinyl top, grabbed a 383 from a Revell '69 Dart kit, and other stuff from various kits:






I spent four years building this Dodge. I presented it to my friend as a birthday gift. He still has both Super Bees!!

I remember seeing it toards the end of the build,Brother,and loved it. I always liked that kit (I built one as a young teen with my Dad in that molded-in-blue from the mid 80's,and a few since). This has to be my favorite buildup of it ever,you done good,my friend! ;D

Thanks, Boss!!! The first one of these I built without painting the body. It pales in comparison to this one, but, of course, I didn't spend four years building it, either!!!! HAHAHAHA

Your friend is a lucky guy. To have a friend like you. Who took time to do a build for him.
I am sure the model is even more true to the 1:1 in person. GREAT WORK!!
