Decal paper and a clear sealer spray is all you really need...

Mucho thanco brotha's ! I'm not sure how many coats I sprayed . I use Future and start by spraying thin multiple coats to get the surface wet with out any runs , Future is forgiving so minor runs will flow out flat for the most part . I went back and sanded off some dust particles that were in the clear and resprayed it overall again . There might be a total of 4 coats . A problem with Future that I forgot . I had to use Solvaset on these decals and it will soften the Future and give it a light haze ! But dont panic if that happens . If you leave it alone it will go back to clear and another coat of Future will hide it . Still havent gotten to the making of my own decals yet . Thanks for the info for when I need to use it . I was thinking of using a dark gray enamel for the pin wash in the panel lines . Any suggestions ?

Joe I went with the # 2 pencil last night ! Worked well . Did your seal your pencil with a flat coat or gloss first ? Keith I didnt have that problem with Micro set or Micro Sol . Only the Solve set .

Filled in the recessed panel lines with a # 2 pencil like Joe and I disused then sealed that with a light gloss coat . After that I sprayed a light coat of Micro flat which left a satin finish . Then I brushed a little medium gray pastel along panel lines and flap lines and in random locations on the wings and fuselage . the pitot tube is bent . Yes . Next will be more flat coats . And then there's the canopy . Lay tar .
