Sweet, they made it, or should I say, you made it, work. Spooky stuff, wondering how my "Shinden" will work out, it's 1/24th scale. I sure hope I doesn't go mach 3 in misguided flight, lol. They've been known to do that from time to time, even a Harley can fly, HA!
Looking good Carl!

Steve I think the decal problem was due to the old age of the kit mostly . Flying Harley ! Thanks . Gary thanks for stoppin by brotha .

I cant imagine how much patience that took ! Did any of the decals breakup on you ? I have that kit in my stash and pull it out ever so often but it scares me and I close it up again ! Good looking build you made of the ole Snark kit Keith . Yessir, the white stripes didn't wanna go straight before they set, and some of the smaller decals didn't stay in one piece! I used a good amount of Micro Sol to get things like I wanted! Not a bad enuff problem for me to see if a SNARK would really fly, tho!!

Carl a light clear coat sprayed over the old decal sheet and left to dry helps them to stay together... you have to trim close to the edge when you apply them...

Sometimes a decal sheet will fool ya. Even brand new decals can give a bloke fits! I knew about the clear coat thing, but never thought about using that method with the SNARK.

True but we are both in that age group that some of what we once learned has been forgotten .
