THis will be a Winter Fun build, using a Glue Bomb 1941 1/24 Scale Monogram Lincoln Continental Cabriolet and convert it into a Custom Lincoln Coupe. The coupe top will be a Jimmy Flintstone chopped 40 Ford Coupe. A couple of the ideas came from MCM Forum.

Bruce, Good luck with that factory box-stock Lincoln body, that thing looks like it needs SERIOUS help. BUT, then you post that nice lookin resin body, chopped '40 Ford is gonna be the "help" that Lincoln needs!
What ya got planned for an engine?

Not for sure there John. I was seriously thinking about hopping up the Flat Head V-12 Lincoln motor. It will depend on the suspension system I decide to go with and the wheels and tires. There's plenty of room under that long hood. I continued to cut the fenders and side panels out of the 40 and removed the trunk and windshield off the Lincoln.

Thanks John. Spent the last couple of days cleaning up seam lines, scratches, removing parts and lining up the body halves. Also started fitting a template to work on filling the huge gaps between the bodies.

I was hoping you wouldn't. I did a little more on the fenders and started to build up the hood, to meet the height of the Coupe body. Then I would have to re cut it to open or just leave it closed as a Curb Side Model. This is pretty much how it ended up.

I was thinking something rich, like a metallic grape, burgandy or rich blue candy, in that range. May shoot the body silver or gold for the undercoat. Colors are usually my last choice, after I build and get a feeling for it.

Now, that I've found some good Tamiya putty, will try and get this one back on the front burner this fall.
