Years ago, I had an AMT double kit of 2 Renault rally cars: the Alpine A210, and the Gordini R8. I've been trying for years to find a mint kit again, but availability and finances never seem to coincide. When I found out Tamiya made an Alpine A110 (which I assume is the A210's predecessor), I decided that building the A110 would scratch the Renault itch for a while. (It will probably make the AMT kit look shabbier than I remember, also!) One odd, for Tamiya, omission is that of the distributor. Even though the front half of the engine isn't visible in the finished kit, the distributor is visible. Although there is a radiator in the kit, there are no hoses, and the radiator and pulleys/fan setup doesn't match any pictures that I've found. I'll do some ad lib, here, since it's visible through the rear window. The kit: The partially finished "backbone" chassis. Tom

This is a pretty nice kit- it'll likely get finished!
