1984 Lancia 037 Rally

Since I'm sidelined for a few weeks with medical problems, I thought this would be a good time to re-visit some of my unfinished projects. I started this Lancia a few years ago, and got as far as the interior, and basic engine. Basic is the keyword here: the basic engine and transaxle shapes are there, but engraving is all but non-existent. The chassis and suspension is also quite simplified, in the manner of 80's era Japanese kits. That being said, what is there is well molded and well engineered, with minimal parts clean-up needed, and excellent parts fit.

Despite the lack of engraving and omission of a lot of other detailing, I'd luv to have built this one. I luv the rally machines and what went into turning "econoboxes" into fire breathing racers! Thanx for sharing the fotos!!

This one ended up as a parts box donor. No particular reason why, I just wasn't happy with the way it was going together.
