That is one massive engine. I am still making up my mind about the front double axle but it is your build not mine. But with that engine it would need a double axle.

Aye mate it's a biggun alright, compairing it alongside the kit engine theres a quite a difference, same scale tho, it's just an idea i had making it a twin front axel, a sort of one off, we'll see how it goes, it aint based on any "real" truck ;D thought it'd be different at least

I've dropped the back axels by about a 1/4" and will do the same on the fronts, that'll give it a decent lift, also going to raise the cab and sleeper a bit to, i was going to fit italeri tyres as they look a bit more meaty than the kit ones but i saw some resin wheels and tyres on KFS that look the nuts, they are made for KFS's "Sarisen" (?) armoured troop carrier, i'll order a pair and see what they look like

Is there anyone in? aint been on for a while and i hope some of you guys still look in, anyway i made some progress on this one and have been building another Peterbilt as well, the pics--- the sleeper doors on, the hinges are made from hypo needles and brass rod/wire the marker leds the moose bar and winch fairlead fittings the grill, i cut out the kit detail and fitted some of the fine mesh that came in the kit base coat on decals on the resin cat d8h engine i made from the kit parts front axels, resin again a pile of cat engine parts, (resin) making the dash's, i added lighting to both dashes, drilled out the gauge detail, added bmf, painted over it and then rubbed out the chrome gauge bezel detail, the dashboard decals are on some clear sheet so the light can shine through, work on this truck is held up so i can finish the other pete, it's exactly the same kit but built more or less box stock, where are all the builds you guys are doing? hope this site aint going down the pipes like the old one,
