Royal Regiment of Fusiliers

On Remembrance Sunday a colleague that I have known for many years handed me this figure and asked if I would put it together and paint it which of course I said yes. It's a 1/35 white metal casting of a Fusilier in Belfast sometime during the troubles. I decide to do a small base which is on-going too. The figure is from David J.Parkins. davidjparkins.com  The casting was very crisp and well worth the money.








The wall is ready mixed filler spread into a frame of coffee stirrers lined with cling film, when dry it was marked and scored with a knife before painting, still a WIP.

Many thanks Joe, Jeff. Here's a little update.
Added a sling which is attached to the but of the rifle and around the wrist, this was to prevent the rifle from being pulled away taken by the baddies!!
