Where does the magic happen at your home?

I had a major re-arrange in the Eagle's Nest (my upstairs hobby room) on Saturday due to bringing all my diorama's home from the office due to retiring on the 22nd of this month.  Eventually I will replace the table with one I am going to build in an L shape with drawers and shelves. Also I will be bringing home my comfortable office chair to replace this little green one. Here are a few pics... my paint booth is actually to the right of the model cars but isn't in that pic.  Where does your building take place?  I originally built on a tv tray and at the dining room table, then moved to a desk in the laundry room and finally to the area upstairs in between my wife's sewing room and her long arm quilting machine/office room.  I'm pretty happy with this space now as it has room my for laptop for streaming TV or movies while I work.  Feel free to share a pic or two of your space you work in for modeling in this thread!

I built up my stash at half the cost while I was working to stretch my retirement budget now! That's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol!

Nice place. One I'd love to have! I'm going to hold off getting pics of my space given that I got a whole truckload of 'new' tools from our recent Distressed Kit Auction. Once I get them catalogued, sorted and organized, I'll shoot new pics.

Here's the latest iteration of the WWorks...

Its a modest 9ft of real estate across the end of the back room, 2ft 6 deep on the Build desk on the right, 2 ft even on the paint desk (left hand end)..



The Main Build Desk 5ftx2ft6in



Right hand end "Bridge" to the counter that runs down that side of the room...



Those drawers hold all manner of useful bits n bobs

To the right of that again, most of the stash, plus colour scheme ref books are on the countertop



The Paint desk 4ftx2ft (airbrush compressors on the floor at left)



So there ya go, that's where my messups are perpetrated...

its very comfortsble, got a window just in front of the paint desk, its wide open and letting a nice sea breeze in 😎 Desk operations happen in that breeze from the window in hotter weather. Window stays shut in cooler times (breeze feels like its off the South Pole, which feels like its only yards away) 

As to working there - Nah, don't wanna mess up my nice new desk ! 😉😋 (Joking of course !) I've added the missing countertop photo to it as well...

It is not a very large stash.   The models in the cabinet are 3 deep!  There are some  models under the table along with my diamond art supplies.  I think I have plenty to do!
