Hi Folks
As promised (threatened over in my build thread, here's my last 4 for the year, construction of the first 3 shown below is as detailed in my thread, the 4th is something I built after I'd gone into downtime/holidays, just to while away a few slack days). I did build a couple of other things too, but didn't detail them in the thread, mainly because they fell together with no interference from me at all - too easy in fact !
Ok 35ths as below, all OOB, nothing extra added at all, and all painted with Tamiya Acryls, thinned with 98% Isopropyl and sprayed thru my trusty Testors/Aztech 470.
Tamiya's old but still pretty good StuG IV. There's better kits about these days and I MAY get to building one of them next year, but this old gal still holds its own for ease of construction (its Tamiya after all !) and it still comes up as a pretty good representation of an early StuG IV
Tamiya PzKpfw IV Ausf J (Early) Again a nice kit from big T, assembles easily and well, and is a good representation of the subject matter, again, there's better about and again I MAY do one of them next year (no promises, depends entirely on where my whim blows me)... As Below.
Tamiya JagdPanzer IV (A)
One of Tamiya's latest efforts, nothing much wrong with it at all and a big plus for the ease of assembly of the mesh skirts (which ARE in the kit as it comes from your LHS or wherever else you may choose to get it. Border has just released a pair of these in early and late production varieties, I have one of each stashed, unknown as to when I'll get to them, my Dragon example of the species is now a kit to be raided for useable parts, it will never be assembled.
Takom PzKpfw III N mit Winterketten
Built this in dribs and drabs over a few idle days, its a viceless kit, as are the rest of the Takom Pz III kits (I've built most of them and never had a drama (as reported by others), with any of them at any stage. Anyhoo, here's the lil" darlin' in her winter plumage.
And that's yer lot for 2023 from Panzerwerke Gomez and Panzer Division Nuthausen !
Have a cool Yule and all the best to all for a happy New Year !
Best
