Hi, all!!
Well, it has been determined that I need to have surgery on my compromised diaphragm. By doing that, my non-functional right lung should have more room in there to expand when I breathe in. If successful, that may translate into being able to breathe better, which will allow me to tackle chores without tiring prematurely. Surgery is scheduled for October 11, which is the birthday of one of the granddaughters. Surgery could take two to four hours. Probably will stay in hospital for two nights, then 2 to 4 weeks for recovery, with a drain tube exiting my right side. I'll try my best to follow up with forum work, but you guys are in great hands with Joe and the other Staff members.

Get the surgery done and rehab as the doctors wish, Keith. We'll all still be here when you get a chance to check in.

Hey Keith, you'll be in thoughts and prayer for the surgery coming up and over the recovery period. Not on here as much as I'd like to be but I'm glad I saw this. Hang in there brother.

Bucky, I'll be praying for a swift and full recovery. Make sure you take it easy and do all the doctors say to do. You are needed around here and I am looking forward to seeing you return in full vigor.

I was able to talk with Bucky this afternoon! Was great to hear his voice and he asked me to tell you all he is on the mend. Tired as expected but his doctor said he should heal up nicely. He goes back in two weeks for a follow up. When he gets more energy he will be back typing once more and back to modeling! Keep praying, it works wonders!!!
