Mutt kit is in, Legends conversion on the way! And in the meantime, Sho't is nearly done. I need to add a couple of bits, lenses in the lights and antenna masts, but other than that it's ready for IPMS next week. Crew figs will have to wait till I get some more heads in, or whole figs if I can find any. There's just a big gap in selection for US and IDF figs for the period. Hello Miniart? Meng? Bueller? Anyway, tank pics: IMG_4065 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_4063 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_4062 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_4060 by Russel Baer, on Flickr They say "always try something new", right? So this time I added the stowage items last, after painting them. I normally do all the stowage during assembly and then paint it in situ. It's tedious but do=able. This time I was aided by the fact that most of the stowed items were/are intended for the AFV Club kit of the same tank so I didn't have to make a lot of "adjustments" to get things to fit, but hindered by having to fill the basket with individual pieces. So I cheated: I added crates down low, then up high more visible items were placed on top of pack-shaped blobs of Aves two part putty I pre-colored by adding paint to the putty as I mixed it. It's mostly hidden and the right color. Boom. I added a couple of smallish tarps and the air recognition panel the same way, mixing Vallejo "canvas" with the putty, then washing and dusting after they were formed and cured. I'll do that again

Looks very good! I agree a lack of figures for some theaters are a problem!
