Jim Richard's was very kind and sent me this kit quite a while ago and I decided it would go nicely with my Military Police Transport Truck I just finished. Thanks once again Jim!!! Here are the kit contents...

You are more than Welcome, Joe Lookin forward to your build Even though I never built a military version, they look great when done. I know you'll do it proud.
ps: there are plenty more of these kits available if you want, just say the word and they're yours. plus I got at least a hundred extra "dudes" from these kits, just gotta find them, LOL.
Jim

Definitely going to look the bees knees Joe, its been far to hot for any painting this last week, everything just dries too quick, I haven't got any retarder to try but I've a feeling even that might struggle!!

I was watching a programme about WWII Harleys, they was known to the troops that had to ride them as horrible Harleys Never heard that before and I've known people that actually rode them in WW2, and I own a 1942 WLA since 1987 that has logged thousands of miles. All the Harley books I have (and believe me that's a lot) refer to the WLA as "the Bike that won the war" that is also how museums that have them on display refer to them. If they were so horrible, then it's odd that Harley supplied the war with over 90,000 of them and it was an engine design that ranged from the early 1930's to 1973. Longest production engine design of any manufacturer. Sounds like a pretty biased, unresearched programme you saw. Of course being a Harley owner and rider for well over 40 years, I know how much people love to bash Harleys, especially those who haven't ridden them very much. Jim

I have driven (and wrecked) several Army Jeeps, Ridden in APCs, Several models of tanks, and Duece and a halfs (and 5 tons) and believe me the WLA is a smoother ride than any of them. They weren't a rough ride, people rode them in rough places, where other vehicles couldn't go. I also believe with a top speed of around 68 miles an hour they were probably the fastest of any of the Militaries vehicles. Jim

You don't need to tell me Jim, I love Harleys! It was indeed the off-road riding of a big heavy bike that got to lots of them feeling skittish about them... lol! I saw that same program Ian is referring to... give me a Harley anyday!!!

I saw that same program Ian is referring to... give me a Harley anyday!!! Cool Joe, I like all makes of motorcycles ( and I know you do also) But Harleys are all I can afford, LOL. That is what is nice about models and die cast, I can afford much more than I can real bikes. I was able to build a collection of all brand motorcycles, that even Leno couldn't afford. LOL This is only about 1/4 of my MC die cast collection (no other pics yet) I am trying to break my reputation for only building Harley models, ( I've built about 80) I probably have at least 50 kits of other brands. But you did such a good job on this one, I think I might have to build my first (of 66) Military bikes, but it won't be MP, gotta draw the line somewhere, LOL. Jim
