Robbo, Patrick can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a reboxing of the original kit with the decals changed to eliminate the "John Player Special" markings. JPS was of course a tobacco company and they were the sponsor of the car through 1986. Interestingly, Camel cigarettes took over as sponsor for several years, but tobacco sponsorships were eliminated from all F1 teams in 2006. I don't know what the law is now, but Tamiya may have been forced to remove either the JPS decals or reference to the company on the outside of the box.
