1/32 Felixstowe F.2a Late

Number 2 in a 3 part Wingnut Wings series. This is the one I've been looking forward too the most. There is quite the following of WW1 seaplanes and this example seams to be at the top of the list. There's even a club and website with lots of great reference. As you will see I have the cockpit done but lots more to do. Hope you will join me in this fun but challenging model.




I will be building the wood version. 









The only aftermarket I got for this was the seatbelt and linen decals from Aviatica.

Absolutely beautiful work! I've often thought about getting one of these WNW kits but I know I'd probably never finish it. Sprue Brothers still has a few WNW kits, even this Felixstow, but as beautiful as they are I think I'll pass. I'd screw it up for sure!
