These ol' Airfix kits need lots of cleanup of flash, seams and missing parts like the drivers right gloved hand that is right now a peg... good thing I have some clay. The seated passenger on the far right has had the seams worked on so far...

Cleaned up all the figures, and the driver now has two hands, and then I started laying in some base colors...

Started putting the main cab together... this is obviously an old kit as the sink marks and raised areas are on the face of the parts and must be sanded down and filled in. Arggg... I'm trying to build in sections so I can mask and paint. The fit is terrible with warped parts and no real attachment points on many parts... butt joint only... not for the faint of heart or beginners...  |

That's looking pretty good Joe. Airfix moulding wasn't the best back then. I remember having the fire engine, it seemed huge, probably was!!
