Time to get out of the comfort zone and go for something completely different. Tamiya's 1/48 scale Vietnam era Skyraider airplane. I made a start with a rather silly scratched gunsight, and together with the office which was stripped from bits and bobs as Quinta 3D decals will be used.    |

If you had to do an aircraft you could not have made a better choice of manufactureres...unlike me, who keeps banging my head on the cheap, hit and miss Revell kits. Happily for me I pretty much understand this now

Hello there Mark, well I have to admit that I have Revell kits in my stash as well. They will be a PITA for sure. That's why I purchased this one, it wasn't that expensive btw, 28€. I prefer to pay a tad more instead of scoring a bargain which frustrates me during the build. So you're not alone, I have Revells as well.  |

Tamiya is the way to go for SURE!! These kits practically build themselves. VERY nice work in that pit AG.

For a novice bird builder like me Tamiya is the best company possible.
This won't be my last plane btw, I'm having a blast without thinking of mud, dust, dirt, metal tracks or not...

Very nice what I did see. So many pics had the dreaded "IMGBB.com service not available" blue box of death. I'll have to come back later to see the rest.
