Very impressive painting and weathering!! Two quick questions: 1.)What do you use to blacken the tracks? 2.) What do you use to weather them? Thanks bud. It's an AK product, it takes 30 secs and it's done. The track links need to be rinced off before the paintjob.  Ok, I first spray on a very thin and transparent dust mist, Tamiya Dark Earth + Wooden Deck Tan + Laquer Thinner. I then carefully brush on enamel AK Dust Deposits + different earthcolour pigments. I then alter the colour of the deposits with my airbrush using Tamiya acrylics. Metal pigment is used onto raised parts and to finish I make scratches in it with medium sanding paper. More brushings..   |
