Decided it was time to make some cobblestone roadway... here is a little step by step of how I do it... after the wood was sealed and dry you add your thin layer of clay. Then you semi level it and using a straight edge and sharp tool, I used a scrubber, you draw your straight lines through the clay. Then it's time to randomly place your cross bar lines to make cobblestone squares offsetting each row. Then you can lightly run a ball of crumpled tin foil over it for texture... if you loose any lines rescribe them. Then add your curbs if you want and let air dry a few days before painting and weathering will take place...
