Decided I needed to build this diorama after watching the Rat Patrol and having built that jeep diorama and always liked the German Officer Dietrich trying to outsmart them... so here is my little diorama.

The Rat Patrol (in Color!) was one of my favorite shows growing up. When I found it on DVD about 10 years ago, I scooped it up and now watch it (or more, listen to it) periodically...usually while at the workbench.

My father was part of Operation Torch in 43. He saw many of his friends fall to the DAK at the battle of Kasserine pass.
Dad was wounded there. This diorama is very nice! Please do a diorama with US depiction someday.

Patrick I definitely will be doing another US diorama (besides the US Vietnam Huey diorama) as I have covered the British in my original Rat Patrol and my Monte dioramas, the Russians in my Aerosan diorama, the Germans in this one and the WWI plane factory and I also covered the Israeli's in my helicopter one. I recently picked up that big US Chevy supply truck and have an MP motorcyclist to add to it. Still thinking of where to go with that one. On the civilian side I have three different model T's with figures, a Russian moving truck, a few bicyclists... and of course the Mercedes I just got and the captured Russian work truck... so I will be plenty busy! Lol!!!
