Nothing like a Messerschmitt fighter to get you going!!! It's a Hobbyboss a friend gave me a couple of years ago so I thought I would give it a go a couple of weeks ago just to experiment on really.

Ah JC don't do that to him the guy's just getting started back up again
Were I you I'd look into some of the newer Tamiya 1/48 stuff as relative ease of assembly and superb engineering present in this manufacturer's products will help you avoid the project turning into a onerous slog that's far from enjoyable. Ask me how I know this.
While I'm on my soapbox don't forget about canopy mask sets; they're cheap and give excellent results.
Great job on the 109, I'd not have thought it was a first in decades
