Magach 6B

Kind of a milestone: not the model but I actually made a cheapo place to take model pics. The tank is the old Esci Magach with a bunch of adds, almost my last one in the stash.

I tried to copy a pic of a tank parked up after a long road trip up the coastal highway into Lebanon, two tanks loaded up like gypsy wagons.

I have a photography advice for you Russ:

I dunno what you used to shoot these pics, probably a cell phone camera? If so, I see the problem and there is not much you can do about it.

But if you have a camera that offers different operating modes, you can manually adjust the f-stop to a value of minimum F11 or higher. This will result in more depth of focus and then for example your MG's on the turret roof will both always come out sharp from every angle. You'll need a stand to avoid blurry pics though, because the shutter speed also expands.

Thanks Tobi. I'm using an old digital camera, the same one I use for work. I can change settings, and I do have a little folding stand I can try as well.

I even use the timer, so I can press the release and the camera can recover from my touch before shooting the picture
