Very sweet what-if, Russ. Only one thing I might have done differently, and that would be to leave the stowage racks off the rear doors. The racks keep them from opening, but they would be perfect for loading fresh ammunition in the field. Well done indeed!

Beekster, good idea. Those covered rear doors actually are access for the batteries and NBC system, hull access is through the big middle door. I had those brackets left from the Slammer hull since I used resin AM parts on it. I'm thinking of another SPG on a Merk1 hull, and for that one I may do some serious mods there, just for ammo loading access.
JED, I used Vallejo gray "rubber", and while it's kind of light, I use a very dark gray wash on the sides of the tires to pick out the edge of the rim. It looks a lot like worn, sun-bleached rubber when done.

Thanks Joe, that's my ultimate goal, usually. I do have something else in mind that might be considered more "Sci-Fi", maybe even comical, but it's down the road.
