Just want to say hello to everyone, I've been been out of the model making scene for a few decades now but during lockdown at the beginning of the year at least here in the UK I thought I would rekindle my love of it. I've attached a pic of a Hasagawa egg plane I did and also a Revell star wars snap together kit. I don't really specialise in any particular subject and just have ago at anything I like the look of. I'm a little conscious that my efforts are a little amateurish compared to the masterpieces on here so I won't be posting many pics ☺️, but will probably have lots of questions 😁.   |

Don't let the amateurish bit stop you from posting pics. I'm amateurish myself, and I started this forum for that very type of builder. We are very fortunate to have the quality of builders here to grab tips and techniques from. Enjoy your time on OSM!

Welcome Dazza! I don't think your models are amateurish at all! This are fantastic! Brilliant application of foil on the space shuttle and WOW! on that Millennium Falcon! I'll be looking that over to see how I can replicate much of what you did when I start my 1/72 scale one.

I really enjoyed doing the Falcon although it is small not much bigger than your palm. As you probably know there's a lot of contention about the SW vehicle colours but I prefer the darker grey for the Falcon. |

Yep, I've heard of that too. Still, I'll be going for a lighter grey version, just to be able to show more detail.
