Excellent cache ya got there. Ya, it seems some of the overseas stuff is way faster than stateside, not sure why. You are brave ordering brushes online, IMHO. I gotta see that puppy up close before I buy it, lol.

These are are a great mid level brush made especially for oils and washes. I love them. The brush kit you see there was on sale for $35 and real sable.

Nice load of gear, i like the AK WWI British u inform colours,I also have some AK German aircraft colours suitable for airbrush and brushing but for me they are far too thin for the brush.

Wow, what a score! I'm glad you got all stocked up. I myself can't use Mig products; they are geared toward large scale aircraft and armor (1/48 and 1/35) so they are far too heavy for my small scale. Yes, it tried to thin them down enough to make them work, but the more I thinned, the less effective they were. I've seen at least seven other small scale builders who've experienced the same thing.
Congrats once again on this awesome haul. I'm looking forward to seeing all the projects that these will help enhance!

You should write Mig and ask him about it Mark, he probably knows the right formula for mixing it down...

While I haven't done so myself, other Braille builders have and gotten either silence or some other non-helpful reply. It seems Mig is not interested in the smaller scale models; some have even been given the impression that he considers them "toys" or that Braille is a "dead scale". This is why he gears his products toward the larger scale models as they hold his interest. Again, I'm only passing on what I heard and seen here; I have nothing against the man and I wholeheartedly admire those masterpieces that other people have done using his products.

Mig went through a hard time when Elizabeth Wiese his wife died, so he was kind of absent for awhile there and wasn't focused on building. I will do a bit of digging around and see if I can find anything...

Okay no worries Joe. I'd heard of his issues as well and thought maybe that might be why, but some of the contacts made were well after he started advertising and showing his products again. Just last week another Braille modeler tried his products on his tank and found the same thing I and others did; the product went on too heavy despite his efforts to thin it down or mitigate the effects with follow on filters and washes and such.
I'm good regardless; I have a list of stuff I use and it works for me. Some I'm still getting practice on but I'm happy with the results so far.
