Excellent work. A mills bomb in one hand and a custom trench club in the other. Could be going out to raid a German trench for a prisoner or two. A gruesome war. Like the base, was that part of kit ?

Many thanks, I got the idea of the base from the picture on Tommyswar web site, it was made for TW by Andrew Belsey who has a book out on making WWI equipment and trenches which I have since bought and well worth the money. I used real twigs which took a while to set in place. |
