Beautiful work. I love this livery too. Did you race? My father and I raced the 1/4 midgets at Rose City speedway in Portland back in the early 80's till the stands caught fire in the off season. Some of my best memories. Thanks for sharing this.

Bravo, I never did the aiming duties but I had my hands on and built a number of these in 1:1. I loved attending races at I-70 Speedway and seeing some of the best short track racing that has ever existed. If you were a fan then (early 70's) you will know names like Bob Senneker, Tom Reffner, Dick Trickle, Joe Shear, Larry Phillips, Tommy Maier, Don Gregory and to see em all going at it in one place! What a show!

Great looking racer! I helped a buddy put a '72 Chevelle body on a '64 Chevelle bottom side so he could go dirt trackin' back in the late '80s. Lotta fun!

Call me curious I guess but why would you put a 112 in WB 72 Chevelle on a 115 in WB Chassis? We usually did that the other way.
