To be honest I can't remember what I did last week let alone a decade ago.
Main thing is your forum that some of you guys have worked so hard to build and maintain is thriving where others have fallen, testament to the Moderators and contributors alike, well done all.

I am a relatively new member to this forum (I think maybe about two years or so). I was a member of a couple of Yahoo forums in 2011, and I can say this one has the broadest offering of topics and there is little of the "cars" versus "military" division that I have encountered elsewhere. Back in 2011 I was not active in model making, although I had about 8 I planned on doing. That number of kits has now grown tenfold, and I started building again in 2015. What I did do in 2011 was swap vehicles. I like classic cars and at the time owned an Austin Healey. However, with a wife and two daughters it made it hard to carry then all on a road trip for ice cream. So I swapped the Healey for a Mustang. This is the one weekend I felt like a true car collector.  i love those Healy's, I had a 63 Morris Minor for many years but had to sell it on,almost cried 😳 |
