Why is my finger more sticky to glue than the plastic?

I really enjoy the contrast between the grey and the red rust. Really beautiful work.

Thanks gents Turns out the Ford's got a bad torque converter, on order but five days or so out. Too hot and dry to shoot Prairie Dogs, don't want to take the chance of starting a fire we got enough of them already. Bench time has suddenly grown. Here's the beginnings of the base I've taken to using air dry clay for surfaces that require impressions. It's soft enough to push things into and firm enough to take good, sharp track and tire prints. Best of all, your model will not stick to it nor will you be trying to clean whatever goo off the tracks that decided to hang on while using the model for this detail. I've taken a liking to the acrylic ground/mud goo from AK and MIG, can't say much for the color but I got paint My krauts Decided to try the straight down white preshade on them...hey it worked on the vehicle we'll see Ammuntion Tammy gives you case rims to stick on the ammo tubes but they only give you eight of them. To avoid displaying empty ammo racks I decided to include a couple of dust cover tarps, something I'd do if it was my TD since dust and dirt can score the chamber of your main gun and that ain't good Tarps are also handy when strategically placed to cover them whoopses Regards, Mark

Thanks gents Vehicle and base. Base's not yet finished, probably try to get a bit more contrast and definltley add some vegitation Did not care for the way the figures were going so I stripped them and started over. I'm trying to evolve a working method to paint figures since it seems I'm unable to produce a decent figure in the traditional manner. Here I'm trying to preshade for uniform tone variation, will be using the multiple wet light coat method when base painting. We'll see if it makes any difference Regards, Mark
