Thanks to a fortuitous set of circumstances, I was able to spend the time I needed to bring two more models over the finish line this month. These two span the years from WWI to (relatively) modern times. First up is my 1/72 scale Master Box WWI Mk. IV female "H.M.L.S Tiger" adapted for the Gaza Strip: Next is my 1/72 scale ACE Israeli Nagmasho't Heavy APC: That's all so far since I've been trying to concentrate on my An-124 lately. I hope you enjoy this short parade. I may have one more model brought over the finish line soon; possibly this month. If not, it'll definitely be done at the beginning of next month. Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Great job Mark. They both look really good. I especially like the WWI female. Thank you for the explanation too. At least I now know you don't flip them over to see if they're male or female

I'm sure you're kidding Bruce.
For anyone who doesn't know, as I didn't, from what I understand the male tanks have canons in the front and rear machine guns. Females have machine guns front and rear.

Who knew?? I wonder what it would be if it had a canon in front and a machine gun in the rear??

Who knew?? I wonder what it would be if it had a canon in front and a machine gun in the rear?? I thought you were more up on them Bruce. My error. Your question would be a male tank as per my description above. I think you meant to ask what would it be if it had machine guns in the front and canons in the rear. That I can't answer

The Mark IV tank came in two varieties: the 'male' was armed with two 6-pdr. Hotchkiss QF 57 mm naval guns and four Lewis guns, its 'female' consort had six Lewis guns . . . The 'male' version weighed 32 tons, whilst the 'female' weighed 28 tons.
