From what I gather there is a new retool coming out for this kit. After they released this kit over a year ago they made some changes based on comments from modelers. Some of them from me I hope. I've had a strong opinion about the Gt kits from Meng and Trumpter. Neither kit is accurate and require a great deal of fab work. I spent over a year and tons of money at the 3d printer on the Trumpter kit and was never happy with the end result. The biggest problem is they try to be every version for each race which in my opinion is impossible since each car had various setups per race. I will take another shot at it but I will stick with the Trumpter kit mainly because of cost. Thank you for sharing the sale price that is good but still 3x more than the Trumpter kit.
