Had some visitors at my feeder this morning... pretty shady and lower light made it harder to get them but this is what I ended up with... hope you enjoy these Evening Grosbeaks. There’s no telling when or where evening grosbeaks, with their spectacular gold and dusky coloring, will appear. Winter migrants, they spend the cold season searching for food, typically tree seeds. They occasionally visit backyard feeders for sunflower seeds and nibble at trees with berries or buds, especially maples.
