We only have black bears around here,never saw one I person yet,but they are around.

No, this is a black bear even though he is a pretty redish brown color. No hump on the shoulders...

Are they a real threat guys? I'm loving animals a lot and bears as well but not in my friggin' garden.

I'm loving animals a lot and bears as well but not in my friggin' garden. We keep our distance... they prefer to be left alone as well. Have never needed a gun, I do carry bear spray if I go up into the woods above my home but they don't come around that often, usually when the fruits on the trees as they like it as well as we do... its always a race to see who gets the pears and apples first. I usually leave the upper tree away from the house for them, ha, ha!!! If they get too close I remote start my truck or trigger the horn a few times with the remote door lock and they run back to the woods again, after all they were here before me. |
